rain rain go away?

Today we embraced the rain. 

February I thought we were friends . . .

February is the month of love and my Birthday month so naturally I was kind of disappointed when we didn't start off so well. Lets start off the night before. . . . The paint. It was a nightmare. We got one wall done and Im still not sure its done. After many trips fixing paint and such we finally ended the night at 3am. I have never had a paint issue before so this is really rocking my world!

 Then on FEB 1st my lovely daughter woke up at 5am. (remember I went to bed at 3am) Grrrrrr. I put her in her highchair with some special k and a show. She took the cereal and threw it all over.

 As in all over my new wallpaper. Grrrrrrr  and all I had to stare at was my paint I hated. 

So by 9 am I was off for a diet coke and a jr frito wrap at sonic. Yes Im so gross. . . back off

and p.s i got a great Happy Birthday email from county crock it stated- Enjoy $0.40 off your next Country Crock.  Now maybe on a normal day that would have made me happy but  .40 cents really?! 

And burrrrrrrrr!!! How did the rest of you like that big smack in the face every time you walked outside?  it was 8 degrees during my frito run. With the windshield it was like -100 That woke me up ;) 

In the end my day turned out great and today must be better! Navi just walked in while getting ready for school hugged me and said "thank you so much for helping me pick out my clothes it teaches me that when I am a mommy and have a girl I should do this, and they will get to be fancy." She is a funny always thankful girl.

Are we there yet?!

This weekend we went road trippin.

Today I feel like I got ran over by a train

We definitely had great moments. Dance parties in the car, great talks and making new goals, seeing lots of family, swim party, and jumping like crazies on the hotel beds.

We also had crazy moments! Being in the car for hours with kids is . . . . not awesome.  

I think that's all I need to say and you gals already know those details. :)  but oh the screaming!!!!

oh ya and NATE got a speeding ticked. lol

     Today I get to paint!

I am tackling my biggest mistake wall in my home. I hate it. Hate!

This post is dedicated to Chip

Meet our new puppy. He was our Christmas morning surprise, as if my life wasn't crazy enough :) Our kids were instantly in Love. Navi is my helper with him, Gray has "races" with him, and Annsli kisses, squeezes, and pats him all day . . . poor dog. So now that we have a dog I get to be even more annoying in blog land. In addition  posting 100 bragging photos of my kids, I get to do it with my dog also - awesome

So  . . . This is Christmas morning right when they got him

 I have to say Anns was the most in Love

 And Navi did "sleep" with him the first night. (for 30 min till she was out and I got him out of there)

He is a miniature Goldendoodle. I thought he was perfect. Doesn't shed, not to big or small.

And we named him Chip because his nose is just the same color as a chocolate chip

 This is what Navi does after school. . . . 

Oh and my best friend has a dog. . . . We are now insane. And Im going to buy her some stickers of her family plus the dog to put on the back of her car ;) And you can't see but her shirt says Dog Lover, from her husband for christmas.  LOL

Love me some Thanksgiving!

No! This weekend can't end.  Thanksgiving was wonderful! I loved having all the special people I love so much at my home to celebrate. While I forgot to get all those great close up shots of decor, party favors, fabulous food, and the tablescapes I did get just the perfect mood shots :) My family is full of it! I died laughing looking through these. Apparently I can not sneak a photo without someone pretty much everyone pulling a face :)

After so much food, we were all in that "way to full daze" and cuddled up for some elf, and naps!

Yaay Its finally my turn for photos. Is it ok to say I Love them?!

The thing is I had a vision in my head and knew it wouldn't come out exactly how I imagined
(because of crazy kids you can't make freeze) But It did! Just like in my head.

I have this friend Chelsea (remember HERE, HERE and HERE, thanks to her those ideas in my head came to life perfectly.

She has a great eye and knows me so, so well!

I stayed up all night editing them not giving her a chance to show me all the edited ones first :)

My home is bright. We are bright, and crazy just like the fair ;)
I also picked clothing not only based on location but on the accent colors in my home


I think its really important not to just bring great clothing to a shoot but a vision that represents your family
I think that's why I love favorite things so much. It shows us who you are, your spirit
so get dreaming up your next photo shoot. I can't wait to see!

April Snow?!

Sledding in April.

Something I have been trying to do daily on my family blog is to document a moment everyday. I sometimes get overwhelmed thinking of blogging a big and great post, and this has made it so much easier. Just one picture and one sentence. It can be more but doesn't need to. So far It has been great and has helped me out a lot in my journaling. I thought I would share a moment of our day with you :)
